We need you.

Who can apply the program?

Anyone with the genuine interest for helping the population we are helping through our various programs can become a volunteer.Volunteers can help raise awareness about the goats program to empower women, or become ambassadors of OuagaNet at various capacity by helping us make fruitful contacts that will lead to program supports.  Volunteers can also lend their marketing, writing skills, graphics and video creations skills or even helping to help share the news about OuagaNet on social media.

How to get started

To get started, contact us via e-mail about your volunteering interest.  If you are a school, business, chor any other organization, please provide details about your organization and location by using our contact us form.  We will get back to you as soon as possible

Areas where we need help


  • First aid medical kits, band-aid, bacitracin ointment for cuts and wounds,  High blood Pressure medicine, ointment to treat pain such as Bengay, Ibuprofen, aspirin, tylenol, medical gloves, etc.
  • Vitamins for men, women and the youth
  • Over the counter medicine. 

Education and youth:

  • Pens, pencils, color pencils, erasers
  • Soccer balls (size 5), volleyballs and jumping ropes
  • E-reader tablets, used cameras in working condition
  • Tshirts and dresses that are in mint condition

Women empowerment:

  • Donations to buy goats
  • Vegetables seeds for gardening (Okra, eggplants, etc.)


What is the benefits?

Volunteering with OUAGANET will provide you with the opportunity to understand the needs and suffering of rural villagers in Burkina Faso.  You are given a great latitude to contribute however you choose without pressure of time and results. You will be given the opportunities to put your skills to work and you may even discover through the process that you have other hidden talents that were untapped. Most people achieve a sense of satisfaction by being able to volunteer for the social good which is not always the case in other jobs.Finally, the volunteering can be used in resumes as job experience.
