Planting trees to protect the environment and to fight malnutrition

Donate Now

Everyday men and women fetch wood or cut trees for cooking, making musical instruments and crafts and many other things.  As a result, the soil is degraded year after year and the rainfall continue to drop. The sahel which is a form of desertic condition is gradually affecting Burkina Faso.

What we do with the trees planting program is to teach men, women and children to care for the land.  We donate trees such as the moringa, mango and other fruit trees to all these groups to plant in their own yards.   The fruits are useful for providing vitamins and other nutrients much needed to the community.
